New permission in SEZ "Starachowice" - Puławy Subzone for Air Liquide Polska Ltd. The conditions of the permission: min. investment outlays - 36 mln EUR; number of new workplaces - 20.

On July 28, 2008, Zakłady Azotowe "Puławy" S.A. obtained a permit to conduct operations within the Special Economic Zone"Starachowice" - Subzone Puławy. The permit concerns projects for increasing urea production capacity by approx. 270,000 tpy and increasing AdBlue production capacity up to 100,000 tpy. Project activities under the permit will enable the Company to benefit from income tax relief on the sales of products manufactured under those projects until December 1, 2017. Thus, the Company may obtain a tax relief of up to 50% of qualified investment costs. According to the permit, by December 31, 2010 the Company is to make project-related expenditure at least equivalent to 45,7 million Euros within the zone, calculated on the basis of average exchange rate issued by the President of the National Polish Bank on the date of the permit.
